New Open Mic Series in CT...
Unity Church in South Windsor, CT is having a new open mic series that will be held every last Friday of the month. It will run from 7pm-9pm with a $10.00 suggested donation/love offering. First come first serve sign up so arrive early to get a good slot! The open mic starts on Friday February 24th. Musicians and poets are welcome! New project still in the works...a little over half way done...I think?
Well I am still in the studio trying to finish up my latest recording, "Can You Hear Me?". Kyle Fredrickson (my producer and good friend) and I are producing the record together and basically recording all of the instruments ourselves in make shift vocal booths and in rooms lined with heavy drapes, comforters and blankets to deaden the sound for clean professional takes. Thanks to Joe Seiders and Pat Hanlin for playing incredible drum tracks...Kyle and I decided to let the "real" drummers take the wheel on the drum parts...trust me it was an excellent decision. I was expecting the project to be out and ready by early spring but time is just flying by too quickly! I am hoping to release it by fall the LATEST. I am working hard on the tracks, recording them to my liking which sometimes takes a while as I am quite often a perfectionist.
