Unity Church is holding a new open mic series in CT! The series starts on Friday February 24th at 7pm, musicians and poets are welcome. I will be the first featured artist to kick off this event. The series will be held every last Friday of the month running from 7pm-9pm. My partner Elise and I are hosting the event and are looking to fill the featured artist slots for the next few months. If you are a musician or poet, and would like to be a featured artist in this new series please contact me here at my website, booking@andreapaquin.com. If you would like to attend the church and be part of the open mic, the church is located in South Windsor, CT at 191 Ellington Rd. (Rt. 30). $10.00 suggested donation/love offering and first come first serve sign up. Featured artists will get half of what the door brings in, so the more people we get to attend the open mic, the more the featured artists will bring home...so, this means promo, promo, promo! Mosaic's Benefit LOL Comedy Show is here once again!
The event will be held on November 4th at The Crowne Plaze in Cromwell, CT starting at 7pm. I am opening the show from 7pm - 8pm and then the professional comedians hit the stage!

It's been a while since my last blog - I have been busy recording and booking shows for the year! I am very excited about the contacts I have made and the beautiful tour travels my partner and I have booked for the upcoming months! I feel blessed to be able to perform as often as I am! I am doing a professional live video for 2 of my songs at Strewnshank Studio in Charlestown, MA on Saturday July 2nd at 4:30pm (doors open at 4pm) and need an audience! If you come you will be in the video as the live audience and beer, wine, and snacks will be provided for you all! PLEASE respond to this invite to let me know if you can make it...your support would be greatly appreciated...especially for this event! This project is being recorded in hopes that I will receive representation from a well known college booking agency. They have already inquired in regards to representing me but are recommending live video for my final submission, so PLEASE let me know if you can come...this will be such an awesome event!

I went to Nashua, NH today and spent a couple of hours doing a photo shoot with Sid Ceaser who I have recently hired to do my promo shots. I am psyched to be having professional photos done once and for all and I am so glad to have found such a talented photographer (thanks Rachel G.) and thank you Sid!

It has been a great new year so far! I am currently being booked throughout the northeast and am working on my new record in Boston - it's taking a bit longer than I had anticipated but it's worth the long studio hours. I am working with Kyle Fredrickson who is an excellent engineer, and he has been doing a great job helping to enhance my songs. He is helping with the production as well. We have taken an independent approach to this record as Kyle and I are practically doing most of the recordings ourselves...well, besides the drums. I am hoping to have it ready for the summer maybe fall the latest...I really want to make sure this album is exactly the way I want it to be - I feel as though it will be my first "true" record so to speak.

Benefit Cruise in Seabrook, NH on August 14th
I am heading to NH to perform for the Kelly Ann Bourban fundraiser cruise for the second time. The information provided here is from the creator of the event, Sonia. This year’s cruise will be on August 14th.
The boat leaves at 7pm sharp and we will again head to Newburyport and get back at 10pm. Light food will be provided and on this note, we ask for your help. If any of you would like to bring a dish, chips, cookies, etc, please let us know. We will also be having raffles on the boat and if any of you would like to promote your business by donating gift certificates that would be welcome - we just need to know at least a few days before take-off.
Tickets are a $30 donation per ticket. We are only selling 120 tickets this year so don’t hesitate. Your purchase of a ticket is a donation to Kelly’s foundation and the remainder to be determined, therefore no refunds will be offered. The cruise will set sail rain or shine, unless cancelled by the captain due to severe weather. In that case the cruise will be rescheduled and your ticket will be good for the rescheduled date.
